If you live in the Farragut area you have probably heard the band practicing at Farragut High School. They not only won their last competition but they are headed to the Nationals, and I got to photograph one of their finest band members this last Sunday.
Drew is a senior at Farragut high school and is in their marching band. He is yet another one of the kids that I used to baby sit that is now in high school. Nothing like multiple kids that you once watched cartoons with now going off to college. Anyway, Drew wanted to take photos on the field where he performs almost every Friday night for football games. Let me tell you he was in his element.
At one point I showed him the back of my camera and he wanted to take another photo because he felt like he wasn’t standing in true marching band form. Being a band member in high school myself (colorguard) I understood wanting to get it right.
