I was so honored to get to photography the engagement session of one of Oliver's best friends yesterday. Calvin is literally so nice, and I could not have picked a better person to become his wife. They are absolutely perfect for each other. They love the same things, they work in similar fields (I want to clarify that I am sure they are nothing like each other but in my mind they are. lol)
Calvin and Kaytea have been together for about 6 years. However, before they started to date they went to a coffee shop where they would talk together for hours (even past their college's curfew) and then take walks in the night together. So, we made sure to get some coffee shots in their session.
They enjoy anime together and Calvin used one of their favorites that they were watching together to propose to Kaytea. When one of the characters proposed to another character in the series Calvin took the opportunity to propose as well. (I am also told that they made sure to finish the episode because Kaytea just had to know what they character's answer was.
