So, these photos were taken over a series of weeks with family over the holidays. I have a total of 8 Christmas’ and countless Christmas activities throughout the season. This makes for a lot of photo opportunities.

First we started by making baked goods at my great grandmother’s house with the women of my family. To say that the food we make is good is an understatement. It’s one of the best things about being southern. My waist line may not be happy about all of the food I consumed but I regret nothing.

The next group of photos are from Christmas morning with my immediate family, my grandmother and the family dogs. I really enjoy the last few photos because it really shows what happens in our house after opening gifts. I like to call it THE GREAT NAPENING. Everyone who isn’t cooking is sleeping. Even the dogs.

After that we went to my great grandmothers one more time to open gifts over there. It is so much fun to watch little kids open gifts. They get so excited and can hardly contain themselves. We had some great food and then it was off to the in-laws for more food and more parents.

Finally, the last group of photos are from this last Saturday when we opened gifts with my aunt, uncle and cousins at my grandmother’s house. It is always nice to open gifts with our little family. We are all adults now so getting to see each other is a little more difficult but most of us were able to make it to the get together at my grandmother’s.

Anyway, enjoy the photos of my little familiy and I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season!
