So, my dad asked me to come with him this last Saturday to something called Hardship Hill to take some photos. All I knew was that it was some sort of obstacle course and that my dad had done it last year. Man, let me tell you, Hardship Hill is SO AWESOME.

First of all it is run by Dirty Bird Events. They run events like trail running races, triathlons, bike races and more! This event in particular raised money for Operation Enduring Warrior which is a charity that, “non-profit whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate our nation’s wounded veterans through physical, mental, and emotional rehabilitation”.

In some of the photos you will see people in full military uniform who are wearing masks. These people are running with the disabled veterans to help them through the obstacle course. The reason they are wearing the masks is to remind them what these disabled veterans go through every day and how hard this course is to complete. It was really inspiring to see these veterans run this course! Sometimes more than once!

Many of these photos are also of my dad and his team from F3 running the course. Honestly, I don’t know how everyone did it. I was absolutely dead once I got home and all I was doing was running around taking photos. The course was about 2 miles. That mean that my dad, who went three times, ran SIX MILES of race. So yeah, everyone there was basically super human.

Anyone in these photos are free to either download them from this post OR they can email me at mirandarmader@gmail.com to get the link to the gallery of all of the photos (the gallery has more photos than this does so if you want to see all of them that will be your best bet!)

So, enjoy some photos of some awesome people and some incredible veterans!
