A Bigger Wedding Than Planned

Phil and Brittany were originally going to elope. We had it all planned out for them to go to Antigua and I would photograph their big day there. Unfortunately, Covid changed that.

Jonathan and Kali's Wedding

Once a week I work at PALS Knoxville and take photos of their cars as well as run their social media. That is where I met Jonathan. When he told me he was going to propose to Kali he said he wanted me to photograph their wedding. I was so excited and I loved being a part of their big day.

I took a trip down to Chattanooga for another wedding at The Venue Chattanooga. I second shot Maggie and Robert’s wedding, so I had not met them before their big day. But, let me tell you, they are IN LOVE!

I had the honor of being the second shooter for Andrea Spidell (another photographer in the area) for Tyler and Amy’s wedding. So, if you are wondering why there are not very many reception photos, or there aren’t very many pictures of Amy it’s because the amazing Andrea was doing an awesome job covering everything else.

Anita and Matt Wedding

Oh my gosh you guys. This wedding was THE BOMB. Anita and Matt are some of the sweetest people I have ever met and their friends are so awesome.

The entire wedding day was so chill and laid back. Anita and her husband Matt made my second shooter and I so comfortable and it was very obvious they were having such a great time. I had met Anita before a couple of times before the wedding when we were going over details of her wedding but this was my first time meeting Matt. You could just tell they were totally meant for each other. They are not only husband and wife but they are absolute best friends. I laughed at them the entire reception and when you see the photos you probably will too. Also, side note, they had a taco bar for their reception dinner and I have never been happier.

So, without further ado, here are some highlights from Anita and Matt’s wedding! Enjoy!!!

Downtown Courthouse Wedding

I haven’t been to a courthouse wedding since my own wedding almost six years ago. There is something beautiful about a small wedding. Having only your closest friends and family around you for one of the most important days of your life is amazing.

At the time of this wedding it had been raining for 4 days STRAIGHT. Knoxville had been flooding and the sun had not poked out even once for what seemed like years. Then, on this Wednesday afternoon the sun shown BRIGHTLY. It was absolutely beautiful outside and I got to photograph these two in the court yard downtown.

So, enjoy a beautiful court house wedding and some beautiful people promising their lives to each other!
