Earlier this month I got the HONOR to photograph a good friend’s wedding and it was an absolute blast! Calvin has been one of my husband Oliver’s best friends in the world since they were 5 years old. So, when Calvin asked Oliver to be one of his groomsmen he said absolutely. But, before I get into the wedding details let me tell you about Calvin and Kaytea’s relationship real quick.

Calvin met Kaytea in college and after being friends that spent an enormous amount of time together they decided that they liked each other more than friends. After dating for 5 years Calvin decided to propose to Kaytea during one of their favorite Animes that they had been watching together over the past several weeks. One of the characters proposed to his girlfriend and before they showed her answer Calvin paused the show and proposed to Kaytea. Kaytea of course said yes but then insisted that they watch the rest of the show afterward so that they could find out what the character’s answer was!

Kaytea and I have spent some time together since Oliver and I have moved back to Tennessee and she and I really have fun together. Her sense of humor is amazing and I will drop whatever I am doing if it means I get to go to Target to buy choker necklaces with her. So, I was so excited when she and Calvin decided that they wanted me to not only attend their wedding but also photograph it. Earlier last year I took their engagement photos which you can find here: Calvin and Kaytea’s Engagement Photos

Their wedding was absolutely STUNNING and although their ceremony got moved inside it was still so beautiful. We did have a couple of moments of no rain so we got to photograph the bride and groom photos as well as a couple of bridal party photos. All around it was a beautiful wedding and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it.

So, here are the much anticipated Scott/ Wanger wedding photos that you all have been waiting for! Feel free to share this blog as many times as you like. If you share just the images please tag Mirtography in your post. Otherwise, go crazy!

P.S My second shooter was my sister in law Mary Grace and she did a phenomenal job. Some of these images she took and the ones I am in she DEFINITELY took. So watch out world here comes another photographer!
